Well, it's not even Halloween yet, and already Old Man Winter is on his way, bringing snow with him. He's heading up the East Coast toward Maine even as I type, and although we don't know exactly when he'll be knocking on our door, we expect tomorrow to be blanketed with white.

There's just something about that first snowfall of the season, isn't there? As it whispers down and the brown autumn earth vanishes under it's touch, at least for a few hours, the worries of the world seem to fade away.

Hush! Can you hear it whispering down?
