On your mark ... Get set ... Garden!

Hooray and Huzzah! At long last, Spring is putting in appearance up here in Hancock County, Maine!

In our breakfast room window, Joe's tomatoes are sprouting in their peat pots, and the peppers will soon follow their example. Soon we'll be transferring the strongest of them to their containers - to begin their summer on the deck. (We've become so spoiled to our own home grown tomatoes that we haven't bought the grocery store variety for years. When our summer crop is gone, we'll simply do without.)

Yesterday was a glorious day. After spending much of the afternoon out in the flower beds, raking, cutting back the Winter's detritus, turning the soil, and expanding the bean plot, we are so ready to garden!

To prove the point, this is Treasury Number 108 of the 365 I've challenged myself to curate in 2012.

Eeeeek! It's Friday the 13th!!!

And it seems like everywhere we look today, there's something going on with left hands.

While my left hand is still recovering from a wee bit of surgery, so is the left hand of one of my Etsy teammates. And another member of that same team is having trouble with her left wrist.

And yesterday, a friend on another Etsy team broke her index finger - the left one.

What to do to break the spell that's been cast on our left paws?  A treasury of course.

So ... if your left hand is doing strange things today, head on over to Etsy for a good healing dose of Hearts to Left Hands!

So ... as soon as I figure out what number to assign to each treasury, I'll (perhaps) know where I am. Hmmm ....

Meanwhile, this 365 Treasury is inspired by the Loopy Design Sterling Silver Ring by Jewelry24Seven.

Of all the treasuries in my challenge to myself, this certainly is one. :)

A Very Special Treasury for "365 in 365"

View Lucky Me ... to have Friends like You!

After being away from this blog, from my Etsy shops, and from curating treasuries for what seems like a very long time, I'm back to continue my "365 in 365" challenge - to make a treasury for every day of this year.

While I was recovering from minor surgery, several of my Etsy friends and team members stepped into the breech, taking up the "365" torch and making beautiful treasuries in my absence. (You can see their treasuries in recent posts, which my sweet husband Joe took care of for me.)

Many other friends sent me wonderful healing energy, prayers and good thoughts, lent me moral support, and lifted my spirits.

This treasury celebrates 16 of my Etsy friends and fellow shopkeepers, each and every one of whom I cherish.

As "365 in 365" continues, I'll be adding more dear friends to my treasuries.
