    This is great! Way to show that wood who's boss. I bet the fire is nice these days, too, to take that chill off.

    Woo hoo... you go, girl! Stacking wood is quite a chore, especially after splitting it too, even with a log-splitter. I have personal knowledge, you know. It's hard for me to comprehend that you're still heating away up there in Maine (and what with all that green, green grass!); though with a chilly rain here this evening (and all this week, according to our forecast), we had a wee thought of a fire in the stove this evening. We quickly nixed it, however, and opted for more covers on the bed. A woodstove burning in mid-May in North Carolina... I don't think so.
