Strange how it happens.
You're going about your business, thinking of one thing or another, and somehow without even realizing it, you find yourself "hearing" some old song running around and around though your head like a caged hamster on his wheel.
It happened to me yesterday. Round and round went the earworm. And even though I normally love that song, after several hours with bouncing back and forth between my ears, it began to get a bit - not to put too fine a point on it - annoying.
Then I got to thinking - *insert wicked cackle* - I got to thinking: "Why suffer, if not in silence, alone?"
So. Today's treasury (Number 129 of the 365 I've challenged myself to curate in 2012) is for the purpose of sharing my uninvited headguest with as many of you as I possibly can. *cackle*
If by looking at this collection you've recognized the song lyrics it represents, it's already too late. You've been infected.
If you don't recognize the song right away, you can LISTEN HERE.
But proceed with caution. You may find yourself "listening" to it all day long.
Which means you've caught "The Earworm."

What a cool concept! I love a challenge. I didn't figure out the song, and won't give it away, but it's a good'n.
ReplyDeleteRickson
Thank you Rickson! Your guitar pick was exactly what I was looking for, and it was especially serendipitous to be able to include a fellow JET! :)
DeleteNoooo!!! Don't put a song in my head. It'll be there all day!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you using our treasury tool. The built-in links will be a benefit to your readers for sure. I know you've been discouraged by tools like this before and I don't want that to happen again. Try just using smaller images or fewer columns and I think it'll fit your page beautifully. Let me know if you have any questions.
Sheila
Ah Sheila ... Sorry but I've got another earworm today. Maybe I'll do a treasury about it one of these days. ;)
