Although Joe and I are always happy to send our vintage books to wonderful new owners, there are a few special ones that will not be for sale ... in our lifetime at least.
To celebrate Easter, here's a peek into two of those special books. These are hymnals, old and well worn, which belonged to Joe's brother Bruce.
Joe and his siblings were raised as Quakers and with their mother attended the Friends Meeting House on Forest Avenue in Portland. I could go on and on about Bruce and Joe and the Society of Friends, but ...
